Virtual Variety Show - Seattle Wind Symphony

In the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, we musicians were desperate to meet, to perform, and to feel challenged. Members of the Wind Symphony collectively created a Variety Show: a series of chamber performances interspersed with bandmember interviews and other segments. Thus, the PATTERNS Saxophone Ensemble was formed. We didn’t only want to play; we wanted to challenge ourselves. This performance was the culmination of many hours’ practice - even sometimes in the same room - over the days of quarantine.

Many thanks to Vincent Oneppo, our tenor saxophone player at the time.
